Day 16 Hyams Beach and Potts Point

It was so nice to cook in a kitchen for the last 2 mornings. Both days we have been able to poach some eggs. Yesturday we head to Huskisson where we watched a live band whilst we ate lunch. We then went for a huge walk on Hyams beach containing the whitest sand in the world. It was unbelievable. So white. Such a beautiful beach and quite well protected with a national park backing onto it. From there we got some wine and veggies and cooked dinner for Leonie. She loved it.
Today we drove up to Potts point where Rob and Toby met for the first time. One of my best friends who i havnt seen for a year.
We joined Emirates at the same time 8 years ago, trained in the same class and lived in the same building for a good 6.5 years.
Friendships are strong when you live in a foreign country together and you have no family around. They become your rock.

They got along great which is wonderful.
We had a huge walk around the harbour and then had a big swim next to the harbour bridge.
The view was amazing whilst we all sat there and pondered life after a good swim.
We then ate too much thai, a common occurrence when Toby and i are together, and laughed over red wine. He is so funny and always makes me laugh so much so it was great for Rob to be apart of our fun friendship for the first time.
We walked back to the apartment, 45 minutes of great city scenery and crashed. I love Sydney!!
