Christmas day was lovely. We spent it with Robs family, some he hadn’t seen for the last 12 years. They are really nice people. Very kind, funny, helpful and accomidating. The christmas day weather was fantastic and they had a big pool out the back which cooled my constantly heated boyfriend down.
The kids got so many pressies and played on the computers or in the pool most of the time.
Kids are so funny, when we walked into the house and were being introduced to everyone there was one child missing. We found him hiding around the side of the couch and he had demolished 1/4 of a large container of gummy bears that santa had given them. His mum later tells me he loves sugar so much but when she was pregnant she was a diabetic. Just for his pregnancy. Isnt diabetic anymore. Wierd. Surely there is some sort of correlation with the childs insolen production if mum was a diabetic for the pregnancy? I wonder.
Either way i had a couple of glasses of wine and then there was tea. It was a nice surprise, i was expecting to have a few more drinks as Robs immediated family love a good glass of wine. Probably for the best and felt better for it. So off we headed to our temporary home sober and happy to be greeted happily by Brock and Rosie.
